Just as a lawsuit was filed against Media Matters, companies are still pulling advertising from Twitter. The latest one to join the fray: Ubisoft.
The French gaming publisher has now joined companies like Apple, Disney, and Comcast in removing ads. This follows a report from Media Matters that highlighted companies’ ads were being spotted near anti-semitic and racists post on the social network.
Ubisoft told Axios that they were removing ads for its Assassin’s Creed VR game.
According to Twitter’s own metrics, Ubisoft’s ad for the game had been viewed nearly 10 million times prior to it being pulled.
