NVIDIA throws a bone to gamers in their AI heavy CES keynote by announcing 3 new graphics cards.

The 3 new Super cards announced include the

  • 4080 Super
  • 4070 Ti Super
  • 4070 Super

The 4080 Super will be available on January 31st from $999. NVIDIA puts the performance of the card at 1.4x times the 3080 Ti without it’s frame generation technology and 2x as powerful with frame generation.

The 4070 Ti Super gets an upgrades to CUDA core count, frame buffer (VRAM), and the memory bus. The increase from 12GB to 16GB is a welcome addition as gaming at 1440p and 4K max settings can already stress cards with lower memory. The 4070 Ti Super sporting a 1.4x and 2.5x improvement over the previous gen 3070 Ti (with and without DLSS respectively) will be available on Jan 24th starting at $799.

Lastly but certainly not least, the 4070 Super bring 3090 level performance to the $599 price point and will be available Jan 17th.

NVIDIA additionally announced new Hybrid AI technology which allows users to leverage high-performance cloud GPUs for computation heavy task while leveraging their local GPU for latency sensitive task.

Diablo 4 gains ray tracing support and will be available on GeForce Now along with Overwatch 2.

GeForce Now additionally announces Day Pass allowing gamers to play on the go without a standing subscription.
