Stray will be available for Mac cat lovers next month

Already glad this game is on my wishlist.

Annapurna Interactive has now let the cat out of the bag (see what I did there). Stray will be available on macOS on December 5th. It will be available on both the Mac App Store and Steam.

The game will only be available on Apple Silicon Macs. This is a bit odd for a game being released on Steam. I could be wrong, but I’m not aware of any Apple Silicon-only games being sold on Steam. When Resident Evil Village got a macOS release, it was only released on Apple Silicon. The Steam version is only for Windows. Maybe we’ll see more Apple Silicon games there in the future.

Stray has been on PC and PlayStation since July 2022. It recently came to Xbox in August. It apparently will also be adapted into a movie. This cat sure does get around.

It is great to see more and more games coming to the Mac and Apple’s devices in general. With Resident Evil Village out on Mac and iPhone 15 Pro and Resident Evil 4 Remake also coming out next month, it’s great to see Stray in such great company.

There is no word on pricing for the game, but look out for it next month!
