It’s the beginning of the year. While some people want revolution, most people are here for the obligatory “New year, new me”! Then, there are some folks who don’t believe they need a change. They’re ready to just improve on what they did the year prior. Xbox has fallen into the latter camp because it bringing us the Developer_Direct again.

Announced Tuesday, Microsoft will be broadcasting their second Xbox Developer_Direct on January 18. Just like last year, we’ll be seeing a good deal of updates directly from the developers on how their games are progressing.

The big game this year is Indiana Jones. This game is being made by Machine Games, developers of the latest Wolfenstein series. Of course, this game will only be available on Xbox and PC as was discovered during the FTC v. Microsoft case last year. We’ll be seeing “more than 10 minutes of game and developer insights.”

We’ll also be treated to some updates on Hellblade II, Avowed, and Ara: History Untold.

If you were hoping to see what Activision Blizzard has been up to, then temper your expectations. Microsoft has said that there won’t be any updates from them at this event. I wouldn’t be surprised as I’m sure this video was made before the dust cleared from the acquisition.

The event will take place at 3PM ET over on Twitch and YouTube. This will be followed by the Elder Scrolls Online 2024 reveal at 4 PM ET.

So, what are you hoping to see?
