Always the iPhone. Never the iPad.

One of the biggest features talked about at WWDC 2023 for iOS 17 was the Journal app. It was supposed to take a bunch of information you fed into the iPhone like your pictures, mood, weather, location, and others and have you reflect on the day you had.

However, like some of the other features they talked about, it didn’t make it to the launch of iOS 17. It was still absent in iOS 17.1

But now, with the release of the iOS 17.2 beta, it has been confirmed to be included.

The feature is also supposed to be on the iPad and Mac. However, the app was absent from their respective beta releases yesterday. 9to5Mac speculates that the feature won’t be available on those platforms until the next full release (iPadOS 18 and macOS 15).
