I’ve been using Nvidia drivers for almost as long as I’ve been a PC gamer. But the one thing I never really realized is that you’d have to sign into the GeForce Experience app to get driver updates. I didn’t realize you had to because I just always did. Of course, there are ways around it, but the seamless experience required you to log in. Well, not anymore!

Nvidia just dropped their newest app in beta today. This new app be combining features from two different applications that normally get installed, the GeForce Experience and the Nvidia Control Panel.

Both apps served various functions. GeForce Experience is what you would use to tune game settings automatically for optimal play. The Control Panel is what you wanted to dig into the nitty-gritty of the card and driver. Now all this can be done within one application.

Not only that, but you do not need to login to the app to do any of that along with updating drivers for your cards. You can still login if you want to to redeem bundles and rewards.

The app will also allow you to download other applications that Nvidia offers like Nvidia Broadcast, Nvidia Omniverse, and GeForce Now.

Now I have a reason to finish some work early today. Gonna leave this Mac behind and go play some games.

If I can tear myself away from this new app.
