A whole mood!

On top of Valve dropping the Steam Deck OLED on us yesterday, they were happy to share how great the Steam Deck has been selling. Lawrence Yang and Pierre-Loup Griffais told The Verge that Valve has sold “multiple millions” of Steam Decks.

Of course, it’s a no-brainer that it has. People were virtually queued for the system for nearly a year since its release. To be fair, shipping dates were slipping when preorders went up back in July of 2021.

So, hats off to Valve for giving the PC gamer something to do other than sit in front of a computer on a desk all day or risk burning off thighs. We can stare at a PC screen anywhere we want. And with the Steam Deck OLED, we can do it for possibly 50% longer than before!
