Threads is moving full steam ahead with more features

Is Meta afraid of devices bigger than a smartphone?

Zucky Zuck and the Funky Bunch over at Meta is plowing ahead with adding more and more features to Threads, their Twitter competitor.

Yesterday, they announced that GIF and poll support are currently rolling out to users. These features appear to only be a thing available on the mobile app. I’m not entirely sure what’s up with developers not releasing features on both mobile and on the web, but here we are.

What makes it even worse is that the poll that Zuck made to highlight the feature only shows up on mobile because that’s makes a bunch of sense seeing as a lot of people were wanting a Threads web app to begin with.

Then again, this is from the same company that refuses to make an Instagram iPad app. Which now reminds me there is no Threads iPad app.
