What a thrill!

So, it seems that Microsoft did have more games up its sleeve than just the next Call of Duty.

They spent a good 30+ minutes showing off a bunch of gameplay from games coming out hopefully within the next year or so (don’t quote me on that) and announced a couple of new titles.

So, let’s get into it starting with the most obvious thing I’d be interested in…Alan Wake 2!

Naw, I’m kidding it’s…

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater First In-Engine Look

Yes, Microsoft brought more footage of Metal Gear Solid Delta (what is the the key to make the triangle?). Konami showed off the environments that you will be playing in along with a lot of animals and a lot of mud. Snake walking in mud. Snaking dripping with mud. Snake’s face covered in mud.

They also took some time to show some very detailed rocks and planks in a trench. This was mainly to show Nanite working its magic as this game is running in Unreal Engine 5! Konami has found an engine to surpass the Fox Engine and it looks very good.

I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Alan Wake 2

They showed more gameplay from Remedy’s next game and it sure looks like the Federal Bureau of Control is needed more than the FBI.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Apparently, in this universe, dolphins are really grippy.

Ryu Ga Gotoku showed off what looks to be their next big game inside a game with what looks like full on Animal Crossing. I mean, you fix up a dilapidated island, build a home, build other buildings for people to visit and/or live, catch fish and bugs. The only thing that’s different is it’s way more violent and has so much capitalism that Tom Nook would have to say “That’s too much!”.

The Finals

The last game I want to highlight is The Finals. This game is coming from Embark Studios which I believe has former Battlefield devs on the team.

This is a fast-paced FPS that will be free-to-play. The exciting thing about it, though is that there will be a open beta starting tomorrow (October 26) on Xbox!

These are just the games I found interesting (even though I’ll never play Alan Wake 2). You can check my Twitch archive above or check the source link for all the info coming directly from Xbox Wire!
